Three Norwegian Researchers Found Guilty of Misconduct in Transgender Health Research
An ethics committee at Oslo University Hospital has found three five researchers connected to Norway’s national gender incongruence treatment service guilty of serious breaches of research ethics in studies involving transgender patients.
The committee concluded that two published articles amount to scientific misconduct and should be retracted, citing failures including lack of patient consent, missing ethics approval, insufficient anonymization and unclear use of registry data.
