Shaye and Amanda Scott have been sharing their married life online, following Shaye’s transition in 2023. Prior to Shaye’s transition, they welcomed 3 children together. She spoke to her middle child Hudson, age 10, to ask him about life with a transgender parent. She’s also a source of fashion inspo for her pre-teen daughter, with the pair sharing their matching piercings. Amanda and Shaye first got married in 2012, and 11 years later Shaye came out as trans. However, she told Amanda that she wouldn’t transition if it meant losing their marriage. Amanda supported her every step of the way, flying across the world to get surgeries. They then renewed their vows in 2024, with their gay uncle blessing the Mormon wedding. Both Shaye and Amanda grew up in religious homes, and have spoken about how they receive hate from their own community online. As they continue on their journey of discovery and love , we can’t wait to see what the future has in store for this beautiful queer family. #lgtbqia #family #trans #transparent #parenting #children
